I am relatively new to the blogging world. I started a couple of years ago reading blogs instead of websites for information, and several months ago, I started blogging both here and at Current Wisdom. As I started to meet more and more people, I found out that more and more of them are bloggers.

Now, I am reading about how the family members of my friends are becoming bloggers.

  • David Cohen tweeted this morning that he was helping his mother learn how to twitter.
  • Gwen Bell often writes about her experiences getting her grandmother to use the Internet, blogs and twitter.
  • This morning, Todd Vernon, CEO of Lijit, wrote about his daughter, Darby Vernon has entered the blogging world as well.
  • There are directories of “Mom Bloggers” such as The Mom Blogs and Mommy Bloggers

So this leads to a couple of questions:

  1. Should I try and get my mom, dad and sisters blogging? Would it be something I would like to read?
  2. Why do I feel a little strange reading my new boss’ daughter’s blog?

discuss.
