I picked up a TiVo HD (same series as the 3) a few months ago, and successfully had Comcast come out and one dual tuner cable card installed.

Works great…not sure why they said they “discontinued” 4 months ago, because I got mine since then.

I thought it was an FCC mandate that MSOs make v1.0 CableCARDs available to any customer who requests them. Perhaps it’s just a matter of escalating the call until someone is found at Comcast who knows who the FCC is…
